Still new but this is my altar to Hestia, Aphrodite and Apollon so far (and a question)
I’ve only begun my spiritual journey at the end of December. I felt a sudden and strong pull to Lady Hestia from seemingly nowhere. Just think about petaling about her brought me to tears in the most powerful emotional swell I’ve felt in my life. I took it as a sign and I built her a hearth out of polymer clay. Staring with just her, I prayed and offered the first portions of my meals for a few weeks before one day using my pendulum to ask her if she would be my patron the pendulum swung for yes. Since then I’ve added 3D printed statues of Lady Aphrodite and Lord Apollon that I painted to look like aged marble. I’ve offered dried pressed flowers, acrylic pour art I’ve made and a few other offerings here and there.
Since then I’ve felt so much Love and comfort around my shrine, more than I received from my parents growing up. That’s small shelf has begun to truly feel like a place of comfort.
I do have one question though: How long is typical to leave non-perishable offerings on the altar, for example the artwork and dried pressed flowers?
